Hospice offers grief support program

ONANCOCK -- Hospice and Palliative Care of the Eastern Shore realizes that the weeks and months following the death of a loved one are very difficult. Many find comfort in being with others who have had similar experiences, which is why a grief support program is offered to all Accomack and Northampton County residents, not just Hospice families.

Harold A. Cohen, chairman of health cost commission

He was a renowned health care economist Harold A. "Hal" Cohen, the first chairman of Maryland's Health Services Cost Review Commission and a respected medical economist, died of cancer Monday at Gilchrist Hospice Care. He was 73 and had lived in Pikesville.
